Emma McMahon
BA (Hons), FPFS
Emma started working at Baker Davies in 2008. Barack Obama was elected President in the same year, the world experienced a bit of a financial crisis, so it was an interesting start for her.
After 10 years as a Paraplanner researching technical cases, she moved into advising – wanting more client interaction – and hasn’t looked back since. Emma loves meeting people from all walks of life, each with their own story to share, needs and wants. She believes people truly are at the heart of the business and values those relationships.
Emma specialises in later life planning and it brings her great satisfaction to see the peace of mind it brings, from ensuring you have sustainable income in retirement to fulfil your goals, helping Powers of Attorney get on the right path with the right information, and solutions to fund care home fees.
When not kept on the tips of her toes with her two young sons, Emma can be found hiking on the South West coastal path or up a mountain. She aims to hike all of the three UK peaks, with Snowdon done and two to go.
