Jackie Smith

Jackie has worked within the financial services industry all of her working life and joined Baker Davies in 2001. During the early days, she was involved with the management and accounts administration of the business, before moving to administrative support when the business expanded, setting up initial and subsequent databases and training other staff. She now provides direct support both to the clients and advisers within the team as a Client Account Manager, which gives her the contact with clients that she most enjoys.

Jackie is proud of her ability to provide consistency, stability, compliance and commitment to detail, skills gained during years of experience both prior to and during the evolution from paper-based to digital processes. Subsequently, she has taken on and adapted to new systems and challenges throughout the fundamental changes that have taken place during her working life, and works as a proactive member of the team, problem solving when and where there are issues.

Living in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Jackie loves being close to the sea and enjoys the history and geology of the local area, constantly finding new places to explore with her partner and trusty hound.
